1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Matchday Manager ("the App" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Matchday Manager is a mobile application that helps youth soccer coaches and families manage team schedules, rosters, match tracking, and communications. The Service is provided as-is and may change over time.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years old. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent. The Service is designed for adults (coaches, parents, and guardians) managing youth sports teams.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Upload or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, or violates third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Use the Service for commercial purposes unrelated to team management without our consent
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App

6. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (messages, roster data, event information). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display that content to the team members you have authorized, solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any personal information about others (such as player details and parent contact information) that you enter into the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Matchday Manager name, logo, app design, and all original software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks or branding.

8. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

The base Service is free. Premium features ("Matchday Pro") may be offered as a paid subscription processed through the Apple App Store. All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies. We do not process payments directly.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from within the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability) will do so.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
